Welcome to the home page of Eastwood Cricket Club based in Leigh on Sea, Essex. We currently have four Saturday sides playing in the T Rippon Mid Essex League. We also field a Sunday side in the Warsop Central Essex Sunday League which also plays a number of friendly games as well as a Mid-week evening league side. We are set to achieve ECB Club Mark status in early 2008.
In the 2008 season we hope to arrange a number of games for our ladies side, the only ladies side in Southend.
We also promote junior cricket in the area. We field sides at under 9, under 11, under 13 and under 15 levels. With this in mind we have a number of fully trained ECB coaches to aid the players enjoyment. Youth training takes place every Monday night.
If you want to become part of the club, we are always on the look out for new players of all standards, please come along and join us. We have an open membership and our joining and match fees are one of the lowest for league cricket in Essex, if not the lowest! We offer a fine clubhouse with subsidized bar prices and a lively social scene. In 2008 will also see a new outdoor net facility at our home ground.
